Muktadesh Desk: The Mass Solidarity Movement has announced its candidates for 91 seats. The party’s chief coordinator Jonayed Saki will contest from Brahmanbaria-6 seats.
This information was given at a ceremony in the capital on Wednesday (November 5) to introduce the new committee of the Mass Solidarity Movement and release the list of potential candidates for the upcoming parliamentary elections.
On November 2, the 55-member central executive committee of the Mass Solidarity Movement was elected, with Jonayed Saki as the chief coordinator and Abul Hasan Rubel as the executive coordinator.
At the ceremony, Saki said that efforts are underway to form an alliance with progressive, liberal centrist parties.
The Democracy Mancha will field candidates for all 300 seats. Discussions are also underway with BNP.
Commenting that it was not right to increase the deposit amount of candidates in the election, he said, “This is not a democratic system. There should have been an opportunity to elect on the symbol of the alliance.”
