Muktadesh Desk: The interim government has extended the powers of Special Executive Magistrates for commissioned officers of the rank of captain and above in the Bangladesh Armed Forces (including officers of the rank of captain and above posted to the Coast Guard and Border Guard Bangladesh) for another three and a half months.
The decision was announced in a notification signed by Mohammad Noor-e-Alam, Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration, on Tuesday (November 11) by order of the President.
According to the new decision, the decision will be in force from November 12 of this year to February 28, 2026.
