Muktdesh Desk: The Election Commission (EC) has added ‘Shapla Kali’ to the list of symbols. In this regard, the National Citizen Party (NCP) has said that they want the ‘Shapla Phull’ symbol, not ‘Shapla Kali’.
NCP Joint Member Secretary Zahirul Islam Musa made this known in an immediate reaction on Thursday afternoon.
He said, if we are given the ‘Shapla Kali’ symbol, we will reject it. Because we wanted ‘Shapla Phull’. We are not satisfied with the addition of Shapla Kali to the list of symbols.
NCP Senior Joint Convener Samantha Sharmin said in this regard, the Election Commission has cheated the NCP by giving the ‘Shapla Kali’ symbol. The Election Commission must withdraw from this fraudulent decision.
