Muktadesh Desk: The ‘International Conference on the End of Prophethood’ has been crowded with devotees at Suhrawardy Udyan in Dhaka. The entire Suhrawardy Udyan is filled to the brim.
The religious gathering began with a formal speech at around 9 am on Saturday. It continued until 2 pm. Scholars and ulamas from 5 countries including Bangladesh joined it.
Scholars and devout Muslims from different parts of the country were seen arriving at the conference venue since early morning to focus on the conference. The gathering venue was filled after noon. Many local and foreign scholars joined the conference.
Among them are Maulana Fazlur Rehman, member of the National Assembly of Pakistan and president of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Pakistan; Maulana Ilyas Gumman, Pakistani Islamic thinker; Maulana Hanif Jalandari, secretary general of Befaqul Madrasail Arabia, Pakistan; Nayeb Muhtamim Ahmad Yusuf Binnoori, Nayeb Muhtamim of Yusuf Binnoori Town Madrasa, Pakistan; Mufti Abul Qasim Nomani, Muhtamim of Darul Uloom Deoband, India; Maulana Mahmud Madani, president of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind; International Khatme Nabuyat Movement; Nayeb Ameer of Saudi Arabia Sheikh Abdur Rauf Makki; and Professor of Al-Azhar University, Egypt, Sheikh Musab Nabil Ibrahim.

Among the country’s leading scholars are Maulana Shah Muhibullah Babunagari, Amir of Hefazat-e-Islam Bangladesh, Maulana Mamunul Haque, Amir of Islami Andolan Bangladesh, Maulana Khalil Ahmad Qureshi, Principal of Darul Uloom Hathazari, Maulana Mahmudul Hasan, Chairman of Al Hayatul Uliya and Befaqul Madarisil Arabia Bangladesh, Mufti Muhammad Abdul Malek, Khatib of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, and others.
The conference is being presided over by Amir of Bangladesh, Maulana Abdul Hamid (Pir Saheb, Madhupur), Convener of Sammilit Khatme Nabuyat Parishad and Khatme Nabuyat Preservation Committee.
