Muktadesh Desk: Historical November 7 is the National Revolution and Solidarity Day. On this occasion, leaders and activists have flocked to pay their respects at the tomb of former President Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Bir Uttam, the great independence proclaimer.
On Friday (November 7) at 10 am, the party’s national leaders, along with leaders and activists from all levels, will pay their respects at the tomb of BNP founder Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in the capital. However, before that, leaders and activists have flocked to pay their respects at Ziaur Rahman’s tomb.
Since the morning, leaders and activists of Dhaka Metropolitan BNP have taken up positions on various roads of Sher-e-Bangla Nagar with a procession. At the same time, leaders and activists from different districts around Dhaka have also gathered by bus.
Earlier, at 6 am, the party flag was hoisted at the party offices across the country, including the BNP central office in Nayapaltan.
To mark the day, a rally will be held in front of the BNP central office in Nayapaltan at 3 pm on Friday under the initiative of Dhaka Metropolitan North and South BNP. Apart from this, rallies will be held at the district and upazila levels across the country on the same day under the initiative of BNP.
