Muktadesh Desk: The price of gold in the country’s market has increased sharply. After increasing for 8 consecutive periods, the price of gold has finally been reduced. This time, the Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has reduced the price of a 22-carat gold bhori by 8,386 taka and set the price of a 22-carat gold bhori at 2 lakh 8 thousand 996 taka.
BAJUS announced this information in a notification on Wednesday (October 22) night. The new price will be effective from tomorrow, Thursday (October 23).
In the notification, BAJUS said that the price of pure gold in the local market has decreased. Therefore, considering the overall situation, the new price of gold has been set.
According to the new price, the price of 22-carat gold per bhori (11.664 grams) in the country’s market will be 2 lakh 8 thousand 996 taka. Apart from this, the price of gold per 21-carat bori has been fixed at 1 lakh 99 thousand 501 taka, per 18-carat bori at 1 lakh 70 thousand 994 taka, and per 1 lakh 42 thousand 219 taka for traditional gold.
