Muktdesh Desk: BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has alleged that the ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is sitting in Delhi, India and ordering arson.
He said this at BNP’s Save Padma rally in Chapainawabganj on Saturday (November 15) afternoon.
Mirza Fakhrul said, sitting in Delhi, Hasina is giving orders to burn. But the people of the country will not let it happen anymore.
At that time, BNP Secretary General said that if the government that comes in 2026 is not strong, the condition of Padma river will worsen. The water of Padma river has been blocked by Farakka dam in the Ganga river basin. That is why water is not available during the dry season.
In this crisis, a group is creating a more critical situation. That team suddenly says it needs PR. But do you understand PR? Who are you doing these things? The people of this country are religious people, but they are not fanatics’, added BNP Secretary General.
Addressing the Jamaat, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said, “Get well.” You put posters on the streets, you will participate in the elections – so why are you creating trouble?
BNP Secretary General said that the election should be held in the first week of 2026. The election should be held at that time as promised by the Election Commission.
Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir also said that if BNP Acting Chairman Tariq Rahman is elected, he will provide employment to one crore people within 15 months.
