Muktadesh Desk: The interim government has appointed new Deputy Commissioners (DCs) in 15 districts of the country. The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification on Saturday midnight regarding this appointment.
The districts that have got new DCs are- Noakhali, Habiganj, Gazipur, Dhaka, Gaibandha, Barguna, Bogra, Sirajganj, Magura, Pirojpur, Satkhira, Bagerhat, Khulna, Kushtia, Bhola.
Among them, Bagerhat district DC Ahmed Kamrul Hasan has been given the responsibility of Noakhali district, Kushtia district DC Abu Hasnat Mohammad Arefin has been given the responsibility of Habiganj, Bhola DC Md. Azad Jahan has been given the responsibility of Gazipur, Barguna DC Md. Shafiul Alam has been given the responsibility of Dhaka, Sirajganj DC Muhammad Nazrul Islam has been given the responsibility of Gaibandha and Khulna DC Md. Taufiqur Rahman has been given the responsibility of Bogra.
On the other hand, Sylhet District Council Chief Executive Officer Sandwip Kumar Singha has been posted to Barguna, Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation Secretary (Deputy Secretary) Md. Aminul Islam has been posted to Sirajganj, Commerce Advisor’s Private Secretary Md. Abdullah Al Mahmud has been posted to Magura, Home Ministry’s Deputy Secretary Abu Sayeed has been posted to Pirojpur, Land Records and Survey Department’s Zonal Settlement Officer Ms. Afroza Akhtar has been posted to Satkhira, Local Government Feni’s Deputy Director (Deputy Secretary) Golam Md. Baten has been posted to Bagerhat, Special Assistant to the Chief Advisor (Ministry of Posts, Telecommunication and Information Technology) Private Secretary S. M. Jamshed Khandaker has been posted to Khulna, Capital Development Authority Director Md. Iqbal Hossain has been posted to Kushtia, and Cabinet Division Deputy Secretary Dr. Shamim Rahman has been posted to Bhola DC.
