Chittagong: The banned Chhatra League held a flash rally in Chittagong. The rally was held under the banner of Chittagong North District Chhatra League. A video of the flash rally has gone viral on social media Facebook. Police say three people have been arrested for participating in the rally.
The rally was held in the city’s Sholo Shar area early Sunday (November 9). Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Panchlaish Police Station Mohammad Solaiman confirmed this information.
The three arrested are Anwarul Haque alias Ishan, Rajan Das and Saikat Chandra Bhowmik. The three live in the Panchlaish area of Chittagong city.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Panchlaish Police Station in Chittagong, Mohammad Solaiman said that 15 to 20 activists of the banned Chhatra League took out a flash rally in front of the Chittagong Education Board early in the morning. Three people who participated in the rally have been arrested. A drive is underway to arrest others.
