In his speech at the APEC summit in Gyeongju, South Korea, Trump highlighted the contrast between Modi’s appearance and character. He said, ‘Modi is good-looking. But he is a murderer, very tough.’
He also said that the US is working on a trade agreement with India.
He also praised Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir. He said that they are both great people.
Regarding the India-Pakistan military conflict, he said that Pakistan has shot down seven Indian aircraft.
Trump has also once again claimed that he forced India and Pakistan to stop the war. He said that he had called the Prime Ministers of the two countries and warned them that if they did not stop the war, there would be no trade deal. After that, nuclear-armed India and Pakistan agreed to stop the war.
Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of the Opposition in the Indian Lok Sabha, said that US President Trump is insulting Modi by going from country to country.
The US President has once again claimed that the India-Pakistan war has stopped due to his mediation. Trump also claimed that Pakistan has shot down seven Indian fighter jets. Rahul Gandhi has sought Modi’s response to these claims of the US President.
