Muktdesh Desk: A strange comment about a cockroach found on an Air India flight from Delhi to Dubai is now viral on social media. A crew member wrote in the flight’s official cabin defect logbook that a passenger found a live cockroach. It was hanged to death.
After the October 24 incident, the picture of the logbook went viral online, which started a joke on Indian social media. Many commented that the cockroach was hanged, the court did not sit!
Someone else said that now death sentences are also given on Air India flights, just for passengers waiting for time!
According to the news, the plane was flying from Delhi to Dubai. Shortly after the flight took off, a passenger saw the cockroach. While recording the matter, the crew members wrote in English sentences in such a way that it later became a source of laughter online.
This note was written in Air India’s maintenance logbook alongside other common complaints, such as the in-flight entertainment system being out of order or the bathroom pipe being blocked.
The phrase ‘death by hanging’ was so unusual that many people spread it sarcastically. Some say that Air India has introduced a new policy to eradicate cockroaches. Others say that it may be the result of Google Translate.
Khaleej Times reported that although the Air India authorities were contacted about the incident, no official response has been received yet. However, the matter has raised questions about the cleanliness and maintenance of the aircraft.
