Muktadesh Desk: The Independent Ebtedayi Madrasa Teachers’ Unity Alliance has announced a new program. The leaders of the organization expressed their anger after they did not meet the Education Advisor while submitting a memorandum at the Secretariat on Wednesday (October 22). As a new program, they have announced a protest procession in front of the National Press Club at 11 am on Thursday.
Kazi Mokhlesur Rahman, Chairman of the Independent Ebtedayi Madrasa Teachers’ Unity Alliance, alleged that the Education Advisor behaved disrespectfully with their delegation.
He said, our program today was to submit a memorandum to the Education Advisor and discuss our demands. But after starting the march, we faced obstacles from law enforcement agencies. Even then, the 15-member delegation went to the Education Ministry with the help of the police and submitted the memorandum.
Kazi Mokhlesur Rahman also said, “We thought that the Education Advisor would at least behave courteously.”
But he behaved humiliatingly by not meeting us. This is an insult not only to the teachers but to the entire teaching community.
He announced a protest march in front of the National Press Club at 11 am on Thursday in protest of this incident.
