Muktadesh Desk: President Md. Shahabuddin visited the graves of his parents in his district Pabna. He visited the graves of his parents at the Arifpur Central Cemetery in Pabna Sadar Upazila on Saturday (November 8) afternoon.
Earlier in the morning, the President arrived in his district Pabna on a two-day official visit for the fifth time. At that time, Rajshahi Divisional Commissioner Khondaker Azim Ahmed NDC and Rajshahi DIG Mohammad Shahjahan welcomed him. Later, he received a guard of honor at the Pabna Circuit House.
Later, after staying at his residence in Shibrampur, the President paid a courtesy call on his close relatives. After receiving a guard of honor at the Circuit House on Sunday morning, he will leave for Dhaka by helicopter.
Md. Shahabuddin has come to Pabna for the first time since the fall of the Sheikh Hasina-led Awami League government. He has visited his birthplace Pabna four times so far after taking oath as the 22nd President of the country.
