Muktadesh Desk: After the verdict, another arrest warrant will be requested against Hasina

The International Crimes Tribunal has announced that the verdict in the case filed against fascist Hasina and three others for crimes against humanity committed during the July uprising will be announced on November 17.
After the verdict is announced at the tribunal on Monday, an arrest warrant will be requested against Hasina through Interpol again, said International Crimes Tribunal Prosecutor Gazi M.H. Tamim.
At a briefing on Sunday, he said that they have also requested that the properties of the accused, including Hasina, be confiscated and given as compensation to the families of the martyrs and the injured.

He said, ‘We have prayed for her (Hasina) to be given the maximum punishment at the tribunal. Not only that, but at the same time, I have requested that the properties of these accused be confiscated and handed over to those who are victims or martyrs in the case, and to the injured families.’
He also said, ‘Whatever order the tribunal gives in the interest of justice, the prosecution will accept it.’
On this day, a three-member judicial panel led by Justice Golam Mortuza Majumder of the International Crimes Tribunal-1 will announce the verdict.
The verdict will be broadcast live on Bangladesh Television (BTV).
