Muktdesh Desk: The verdict of Sheikh Hasina and Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, along with three others, in the July murder case will be set on the 13th of this month. The Supreme Court administration has announced a ban on the entry of outsiders into the National Eidgah grounds in the interest of ensuring overall security in the Supreme Court compound and the surrounding area surrounding the case.
The order was issued in a notification signed by Deputy Registrar (Administration and Justice) Dr. Md. Atikus Samad from the Supreme Court Administration Branch on Sunday afternoon.
The notification said that the Supreme Court, as the highest court of the country, is administered by the Honorable Chief Justice and the judges of the High Court-Appellate Division. This is where the country’s most discussed and important cases, including several lakhs of documents, are stored.
Recently, it has been seen that the influx of outsiders has increased in the National Eidgah grounds owned by the Supreme Court and the fountain area adjacent to the Chief Justice’s entrance, which is a threat to the security of the Supreme Court and the International Crimes Tribunal.
In this situation, outsiders have been banned from entering the National Eidgah grounds to ensure the security of the Supreme Court Compound, International Crimes Tribunal, Attorney General’s Office, Supreme Court Bar Association Building and adjacent areas.
