Muktadesh Desk: Press Secretary to the Chief Advisor Shafiqul Alam said that all political parties must now take a clear decision about Sheikh Hasina and the Awami League before the elections.
He said these things while participating in a discussion meeting at the Intercontinental Hotel in the capital on Saturday afternoon.
Shafiqul Alam said that when Sheikh Hasina calls 180 million people ‘terrorists’, it insults the entire nation. Does this mean that everyone is a terrorist? Does she want to return to power by killing everyone?
He said that there is no doubt about the elections. The national elections will be held in the first half of February. The Chief Advisor and members of the Advisory Council are already working on preparations for the elections.
Regarding reforms, the Press Secretary said that people want good governance, but it cannot be established in a day. The reform process in different countries takes a long time. Dialogue can take place even after the elections. It took nine years for such reforms to take effect in Nepal.
