Muktdesh Desk: There is a lot of discussion in politics about forming an alliance between the National Citizens’ Party (NCP) and the People’s Rights Council ahead of the upcoming 13th parliamentary elections. Muhammad Rashed Khan, the General Secretary of the People’s Rights Council, has now opened up about that discussion.
Rashed Khan wrote in a Facebook post on Wednesday afternoon about the formation of the alliance, that the news that the NCP leadership will form an alliance with the People’s Rights Council is 100% false.
He also wrote that the proposal for an alliance under joint leadership came from the NCP; but we said that further discussions are needed. Because after the discussion of the merger of the People’s Rights Council and the NCP came to the media, the statements of some NCP leaders were indecent, immature and apolitical.
The General Secretary of the People’s Rights Council wrote that if you want to do something, you need generosity and sincerity. We said that first, that generosity and maturity should be observed among everyone, and then the election alliance can be discussed.
Finally, he wrote, “Politics is not a game of marrying off puppets, marrying and then breaking up.”
