Muktadesh Desk: Eight parties in the alliance, including Jamaat-e-Islami, will be in the field on Monday, the day of the verdict in the case filed against ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and three others on charges of crimes against humanity.
Jamaat Secretary General Mia Golam Parwar said this at a joint press conference of the eight parties on Sunday.
He made this comment referring to the lockdown called by the Awami League to ban activities in Bangladesh in the wake of the verdict in the case of Sheikh Hasina.
We were in the field in past programs as well, this time too the nation will not give any opportunity to sabotage in favor of fascism. They (Awami League) will not get this opportunity. We eight parties will be in the field, said Mia Golam Parwar.
At a press conference organized on the movement on Jamaat’s five-point demand, he said that the eight-party alliance has decided to ‘say yes’ to the referendum on behalf of the eight parties.
The press conference was told that the speech given by the chief advisor to the nation ‘partially fulfilled’ the people’s desire for free and fair elections.
The program will continue to achieve the fulfillment of the five-point demands of the eight parties.
