Muktadesh Desk: DMP’s Hatirjheel Police Station has arrested content creator Ashraful Alam alias Hero Alam in a case filed by his wife. Police arrested him from his office on Ulan Road in West Rampura on Saturday (November 15) afternoon.
Hatirjheel Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Raju confirmed this information.
He said, “Content creator Hero Alam has been arrested from his office on Ulan Road in West Rampura. After his arrest, he was sent to court. He is a warranted accused in a case.”
Earlier, his ex-wife Riya Moni had filed a case at Hatirjheel Police Station on charges of attempted murder, assault and intimidation. Last Wednesday (November 12), Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Wahiduzzaman’s court issued an arrest warrant against Ashraful Alam alias Hero Alam.
Along with Hero Alam, another person named Ahsan Habib Selim has been named as an accused in this case. The court has also issued an arrest warrant against him.
